Activities involve the elicitation, analysis and specification of requirements; process and system modelling, as well as the administration of existing requirements. Typical challenges - beside language and professional diversity - involve differences in operational approaches and needs that originate from specific markets.

What we do
Requirements Engineers

Software Engineers
Development efforts focus around our main product, the different components of YFU.world. All activities typical to software development can be found: Product life cycle management, architecture and solution engineering, modelling; product-, version- and sprint planning; feature development and maintenance, as well as ensuring proper code management and deployment. Important challenges include working as a team across language- & time zones, priority setting and maintaining effective work relationships with the clients of our product worldwide.

Change Manager
Our Change Managers guide operational teams in 60 partner organization world wide through periods of transition. They translate operational goals into actions, identify management sponsorship and secure commitment, develop implementation plans and parameters, implement the change stages, identify gaps and obstacles and adjust the plan as needed. Frequent challenges involve varying operational approaches and work cultures in different parts of the world.
System Administrators
Our Sysadmin activities have a focus on web administration. Tasks include the management of our containerized environment, software and component configurations; as well as security monitoring, prevention and consulting. Besides, there are database related efforts that focus on data integrity, efficiency, quality, and performance.

Project Work
Team members work on site in Germany, the US and Austria; work virtually from home or anywhere in the world. Most of our work is organized in agile sprints. Depending on the task at hand, and personal preference, individual team members take on smaller or larger workloads. Our working language is English. Depending on team role, some work takes place in close interaction with users and customers across multiple time zones.
